JAKE RAIMER
GRAPHIC DESIGNER & VIDEOGRAPHER
Foot Locker x Knicks
NEW YORK CITY (2026)
Served as Senior Designer, working directly with the client, print production team, fabrication team, CNC operator, and installation team to bring renderings of a mobile brand activation to life.
Adapted supplied brand assets and promotional artwork from Foot Locker and the New York Knicks to the bus. Prepared and resized graphics and imagery for large-format printing, ensuring high-resolution quality for interior and exterior vinyl wrap.
Outlined dimensions and layouts for the upper-level podcast booth, PS5 gaming station featuring NBA 2K, DJ setup, and built-in benches along the perimeter walls. The lower level featured custom merchandise display shelving and a custom LED shoe wall highlighting Puma as a brand partner.
Worked with the CNC operator to design and cut Sintra components to create a podcasting table with a rounded countertop. Produced a custom-branded basketball backboard, secured to the passenger side of the bus.
Designed a custom illuminated shoe wall showcasing orange suede Puma sneakers within a footprint of just over two feet wide. Engineered an oval-shaped composition of 25 uniquely cut acrylic elements to accommodate six 11-inch-wide shoes while maximizing dimensional wall space and visual impact. Developed CNC cut files and integrated thin LED channels into the illuminated segments. Color-matched glossy blue and orange paint finishes to the printed Knicks branding and coordinated installation on the bus’s interior back wall, creating a focal point for the merchandise display.
This activation launched in Brooklyn with former NBA player Stephon Marbury conducting a live podcast interview upstairs while Foot Locker hosted a basketball shooting contest on the sidewalk using the custom exterior hoop mounted to the bus. The bus traveled throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Stephon Marbury, Footlocker, AND1, and other content creators shared photos and videos of the activation.
